Driving lessons

After a few driving lessons, I made a U-turn on my goal. I have decided not to get Class 4A. Two hours on the road is tiring enough; can't imagine 12 hours on the road with a fixed timetable, unpredictable road conditions...

So is there a U-turn in my interest. I have fallen in love with trains. I find calmness in the rythmic sound of wheels going across the tracks. Simply love the sound when the train crosses over to the middle platform before Jurong East Interchange. Previously I used to avoid trains and travel on buses wherever possible, but SMRTB has forced me to switch to trains because their bus services are really sucky. How sucky I won't elaborate - there is already a fiery debate on the online bus forums on this issue. As for me and the MRT, if you can't beat it, join it. Moreover it is faster than road transport, since our car population seems to be increasing exponentially...

I'm beginning to like UDs too, but only at night when the bus is empty and air-con is cold. Thanks to the huge deployment of UDs on 178 and 187, the two bus services that I take from and to Bt Batok Driving Centre.
