Met up with leanseah, jeremy koh and chee. Was supposed to watch 'The Incredibles' @ Plaza Sing, but didn't watch it because tickets was 'selling fast' (i.e. only 1 ticket up for grab). Ended up visiting Istana and not watching any movie. Was drizzling and got heavy subsequently so there wasn't much of a queue into Istana.

Have nothing much to say about Singapore's presidential 'palace'. Have to pay $2 to see the interior of the building. Nice chandeliers, but the marble floors are not well-polished. Oh well they are open to the public anyway. Saw diplomatic gifts from other countries. Personally I like the gift from Suadi Arabia.. a mosque with a golden dome embedded in a glass.

On the way out we were still wondering what purpose does the golf course in the Istana serve? Seriously doubt your excellency plays golf during his freetime. Then there were gurads-of-honour which we were tempted to 'boo' from behind... do unto others what others do unto you ;)

Last Thurs op was over and ok. Sent Dan Loh back to his hostel and dropped perry off there due to heavy rain.. but hey perry, i was going to Sengkang via Thomson!

Last Friday i finally threw that ugly green file to that MOE. Thank you SO much for all the 'learning' you've put me through. I really appreciate that... loooong sleep after all these work. For two consecutive days I was still having nightmares about PW though it's over. Dreamt about forgetting about handing in file etc. Bleah.

After throwing off work, had to rush off to boon keng to do work. But it was the most slack cip so far.. transporting stuff for awwa! the bulk of the cip was travelling and i was merrily chatting away with perry and kaiguan. work was really minimal. this shows that if life is good, it can be damn good. if it sucks, then it can really suck.

Got the x-box from sis. Challenged Karno on Burnout 3 today.

Took the same bus that I took home from school to Bt Timah Plaza for pizza dinner. TIB756K on 171 driven by Jairam. Some light hearted moments with lenseah, karno and chee. Very difficult to meet up another time this holiday.

Read 'The Dilbert Future'.. a very prophetic book that predicted that "in the future, women will run the world in all democratic countries". Sadly I couldn't find the author's course of action.

2 interesting encounters today and yesterday...

Yesterday I went to KAP to makan. Hoarded the 4 person table although i'm eating alone.. then an autistic boy in MINDS uniform and his maid shared the table with me. Immediately, the boy grabbed my coke and wanted to drink it. ok, i forgave him. Then I saw the cold glances from the people nearby and I thought, the society in Singapore isn't open enough. I think we should accept these people into our society... sigh. hard for them

A disgusting encounter today.. walked to the busstop aft my house and i saw a DEAD dog across the road kerb! half of it (the head) was on the bus-stop turn in lane and the lower body was on the pedestrain walkway.. trust me to be curious and to take a closer look. I saw the expression on the dog's face - one of pain. I think the eyes were closed but I could see the teeth showing.. and i saw the er.. intestines (what I ate yesterday for dinner).. which came out from where its sexual organ came out. at first i thought it was the d*ck but how could it be so long?! The image of that dog was etched on my mind and i couldn't help feeling a real urge to puke while i was on 171, and even after i've reached school.. the nauseous feeling was due to the nervousness caused by OP as well.

OP is finally over. Thank God.
