And the girls keep shouting "Mall Mall Mall!"

This week, I managed to set foot on two spanking new malls during office hours. The first one was Square 2 on 29 Feb Monday, which I walked through en-route to TTSH for Physio, although it took me a while to find the link bridge to TTSH. Finally good-bye to climbing stairs to Mt Sinaran Drive, walking along a crowded walkway and crossing a busy two-lane road. The linkbridge was a replica of link bridges at Changi Airport, complete with people-movers and staff stationed at the TTSH side of the linkbridge to welcome visitors. I'm sorely disappointed with Square 2 because I had expected it to be teemed with Korean-themed shops, but the stores there are any other stores you find in S'pore. Design wise, it looks like any other shopping centres.

Then I went to AMK Hub on 2 Feb Thursday. Although only the basement and ground floors are opened, AMK Hub impresses me with its spacious layout, something like the heartland version of VivoCity. I think NTUC Xtra is sitting on a goldmine - a hypermart plonked in the middle of a densely-populated housing estate is definitely going to be a lucrative business. Most importantly I am looking forward to the comissioning of the air-con bus interchange. Yummy!
